ProfessionalBill ("we", "our", "us") provides digital invoicing and bookkeeping services for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and Google account profile details when you sign in.
• Business data: your business name, GSTIN, address, banking/UPI details, and settings you enter.
• Customer & invoice data: the customers, products, and invoices you create, including line items, taxes, and amounts.
• Receipt images: photos of bills you upload for AI-based parsing.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the invoicing, inventory, and bookkeeping features of the service.
• To authenticate you (via Google Sign-In or email) and keep your account secure.
• To parse uploaded receipt images using Google's Gemini AI service.
• To generate UPI payment QR codes on your invoices.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following processors, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Cloud / Firebase — application hosting and infrastructure.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and data storage.
• Google Gemini API — processing of receipt images you explicitly upload for parsing.
• Google Sign-In (OAuth) — authentication.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security so that your records are isolated to your account. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We never sell your data.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your invoices, customers, and items at any time from the dashboard. You may request full account deletion by contacting us; we will remove your account data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
